Freshman Autriyana Hardy finished the 200 meter race in 27.98 seconds, making it onto the list of the 20 fastest times in the 200 in M-A history. These results indicate how strong the M-A girls team is this year.

Depuy commented, “We performed really well, and people on the team in general set a couple of meet records and personal bests.”

As it is the first meet of the season, the De Anza meet has traditionally been indicative of the general trend of the season. According to Rodgers, “There was more heat than we were used to, and there were a lot of people there, but M-A stood out in many of the events.” Judging from this performance, M-A is poised to have a great season.
