About the M-A Chronicle
The M-A Chronicle started in the Fall of 2015 as a student-managed public forum, dedicated to objective and comprehensive reporting. We strive to present the news factually and truthfully and to reflect the diverse nature of M-A in bringing a voice to all students.
Material published by the M-A Chronicle reflects the decisions of the Chronicle’s editorial staff; the paper is not reflective of the M-A administration’s or the Sequoia Union High School District’s opinions as per CA Education Code 48907. Signed opinions present that specific author’s views, while unsigned editorials reflect the views of the editorial staff as a whole. Thus the M-A Chronicle editors and staff only are responsible for published material.
The M-A Chronicle adviser manages logistical production and aids the staff in delivering objective material, without interfering in the editorial decision-making process.
We take pride in presenting our own digital media, however, if a photo is not originally taken by a member of the M-A Chronicle staff, we will credit the photographer or artist. The M-A Chronicle will not plagiarize in any form.
We encourage readers to participate in the discussion by posting a comment or directly contacting the M-A Chronicle ([email protected]).
We will attempt to attend to requests concerning factual changes, though our published product is assumed final.
We understand the potentially controversial nature of publishing on certain topics, and welcome discussion surrounding these topics. We welcome this input, whether it takes the form of posted comments, letters to the editor, or other opinions of the student body, staff, or community. The editors reserve the right to edit feedback for inappropriate language or content. The M-A Chronicle reserves the right to track IP addresses of people posting comments.
